White River NRCD invites Vermont Conservation District board members and managers to join our board meeting on Thursday, March 19 from 12:00–2:30 PM to discuss the draft expanded Vermont Conservation Plan, viewable here: https://vermontconservationplan.com/. Conservation district boards—locally elected officials representing farmers, landowners, and communities in natural resource decision-making—have been underrepresented in this process, and this meeting will provide an opportunity to gather district perspectives.

Participants may attend in person at the WRJ USDA Field Office (28 Farmvu Drive, White River Junction) or virtually. Board members and district managers who participate will receive a $100 stipend in recognition of their time and expertise.

Lunch will be served at 12:00. Discussion will begin at 12:30.  Please register below!
