Farm Force Bootcamp 2026

Join Farm Force for a year-long training program focusing on conservation, with a boot camp in May 2026! Cost: $5,000 + airfare.

This training program is appropriate for any Conservation District staff or individual working toward Conservation Planner Certification, Job Approval Authority, and/or Technical Service Provider Registration.

May 2-9, 2026:  Farm Force Bootcamp will take place on St. Croix, USVI.  Food and Lodging are included. Flights must be purchased separately.

Jan - Dec 2026:  10 Virtual "Aglearn Accountability" professional development sessions, which will include:  group discussion of AgLearn modules; supplemental educational information; inter-state collaboration and peer support network; and sharing local "Farm Force" work brigade organizing expertise.  

Engineering Training will include (based on need):

  • Contour / Keyline Design
  • Roof Water Runoff and Catchment Systems
  • Micro-Irrigation
  • Animal Trails
  • Water Pipeline

Ecological Sciences Training will include:

  • Agroforestry and Agroecology
  • Grazing Systems
  • Soil Health
  • Water Quantity & Quality
  • Composting
  • Environmental Biophysics

This program is currently open to any Conservation District Staff or Technical Service Providers. If you are not Conservation District staff, please reach out to us to be placed on a waiting list.

The total cost of this 150-hour, year long program is $5,000.  You may pay in full, or in 1/2 or 1/4 installments.

Financial Aid is available for Conservation Districts with an annual budget under $400,000.

Please enter the payment you would like to make today:  $5,000, $2,500, or $1,250.

The majority of proceedes will go to food, housing, and supporting local Virgin Islands trainers and organizations, including our founding partner, the Virgin Islands Women in Agriculture Association
