Regeneration Corps
Regeneration Corps is merging with the White River Natural Resources Conservation District (WRNRCD) to create a unified force that will strengthen our collective mission of building resilient ecosystems and supporting sustainable agriculture in the region.
This merger, or “grafting” as we call it, combines the strengths of both organizations to form a more robust network for community engagement, education, and ecological stewardship. Regeneration Corps has been instrumental in mobilizing youth and community members around regenerative practices and environmental advocacy, while WRNRCD has a long-standing history of supporting conservation initiatives and land stewardship in central Vermont.
The Regeneration Corps program serves as a Community Partner connecting high school-aged students in Vermont with leading organizations in resilience and agriculture. This partnership supports students' academic needs while priming them for engagement with transitions through the acute challenges of our time. The existing Flexible Pathways (FP) personalized learning option and Proficiency-Based Learning (PBL) evaluation system anchor this opportunity for young people in Vermont to work for community resilience.
The program's goal is to work with 12 schools around the Upper Valley to increase opportunities to access local climate solutions grounded in community projects and conservation practices.
